VASTU -AUM chant – Space healing Mantra

Vastu –AUM chant – Space healing Mantra

AUM is known to be the first vibration of the Universe.

It has healing benefits for spaces & people.

Playing Aum chants on low volume helps raise the vibrations of the house.

Chanting Aum helps to uplift, get clarity & move further in any situation. It amplifies our thought as well as internal processes & takes us a step further from where we are.  It works deeply on our subconscious as well as conscious state.

Placing #Aum Symbol in the right direction helps to lift energy of the space & its occupants.

Why chant Aum?

AUM (OM) is not a word, it is a sound. Ancient texts state words were created out of this universe, but it is the AUM from which the entire Universe was created.

AUM became the sacred word “Hum” of the Tibetans, “Amin” in Islam and “Amen” in Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Jews, and Christians.

The sounds of AUM are the basic sounds. All the languages, all the words, are created out of these three sounds: A, U, M. And this is not a myth, now phonetics agrees that these are the basic root sounds.

AUM is first mentioned in the Upanishads, the mystical texts associated with the Vedanta philosophy. The Māṇḍūkya Upaniṣad, the shortest of all the Upanishads, is assigned to Atharvaveda. The text is also notable for inspiring Gaudapada’s Karika, a classic for the Vedanta school of Hinduism. Mandukya Upanishad is among the oft cited texts on chronology and philosophical relationship between Hinduism and Buddhism. The Upanishad discusses the syllable AUM, presents the theory of four states of consciousness, asserts the existence and nature of Atman (Soul, Self).

The Meaning of ‘AUM’ in our day to day life

Many scholars have ascribed the meaning of the physical structure of AUM or OM as,

  • The Unconscious State
  • The Conscious State
  • The Dream State
  • Illusion / Maya State
  • The Absolute State

Here is my understanding/ interpretation from what I have attempted to learn in my research of Scriptures, trying to understand various symbols & their application in our daily lives:

AUM has a meaning in our day-to-day life.

In every situation/ challenge/ issue we encounter, we are in many or almost all the states.

To give an example, when we face a challenge;

  • Everything that we don’t know about the situation is, The Unconscious State.
  • Whatever we know about the situation is, The Conscious State.
  • Whatever we would wish the situation to be is, The Dream State.
  • Whatever is coming in between you seeing the situation as it is or clouding your thoughts and views, is Illusion/ Maya State.
  • When you see everything as it is & get a clear picture of what is and what can be done & not, then accept the situation as it is with its totality is, The Infinite State.

The Aum chant in the link has worked well for my clients so I’m sharing with you. It is recommended that you play it on low volume, as at that vibration within the space, it works the best.
